Enjoy our charming two-bedroom garden-level apartment in a historic brownstone in Bedstuy! We’re only a ten minute walk from the J train station. The apartment decor is smooth and simple, for a comfortable stay.
Bedford Stuyvesant (BedStuy) is an up-and-coming community filled with tree-lined streets and beautiful brownstones. We have lived in the neighborhood for over ten years and feel safe. It may seem rough around the edges, particularly in the area right by the train station. If you may be uncomfortable traveling at night in an urban area by train, this may not be your location.
Perfectly positioned at the border of Bushwick and Williamsburg. It takes twenty minutes to reach lower Manhattan and approximately 45 minutes to midtown. Our neighborhood is residential, with the convenience of many restaurants, parks, and bars within walking distance. The best thing about the area is the wide variety of cultures around. The next block has a children’s playground, soccer field, and basketball court. You will find varied cuisines and vegan options within walking distance. Our corner even has an outdoor seating restaurant with live music during the warmer months.
The apartment is quiet and relaxing. The living room opens up to a dedicated working space, with a spacious seating area. The couch is a pull out couch as well. The two bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment for maximum privacy. The apartment has easy access through the smaller bedroom to a shared backyard. Although the garden is still a work in progress, there is a cement patio where you can sit outside to get some fresh air. The garden also contains a swing chair that can sit two people. (Great for couples).
Early/late check-in/late check-out is allowed for an additional fee of $40. This allows for an additional three hours. Anything additional is available for an additional fee. This arrangement needs to be discussed at the time of booking only.
The living room has a 49″ Samsung TV with Amazon Prime, Firestick, Hulu, & Netflix. The large bedroom has a 32″ Roku TV, streaming Netflix & Hulu. No TV in the smaller bedroom.
